there is a great irony in the fact that the bollywood of the 2010s finds itself flourishing in a corner of the world that was once surrounded by the bollywood of the 1970s. its important to see movies, and in particular the movies that are being made in bollywood, as a response to an industry that has for too long been stagnant and even regressive. we have to ask ourselves, what do we want? do we want a bollywood that echoes the past, or do we want to create a future?

i do not just want to watch a movie, i want to be engulfed in a world full of characters that i am emotionally invested in. i want to identify with a character, whether its through an understated performance, a compelling dialogue, or an intriguing storyline. i want to feel the same emotions that the characters feel, and if the movie is moving me, even more so, then i will not only enjoy it, but hopefully, i will be moved, too.

from the filmmakers who brought you step up 3d and high school musical, the ten. watch true legend 2010 on mkv movies king. it is clear that the new team of the expendables was not focused on the legacy of these characters and the movie itself is a disappointment.

the shared universe of superhero movies seems to be achieving something that has been elusive in many of the other mediums, and that is that its a shared universe that looks forward instead of looking backward. its success lies in the fact that its not trying to say, well, this is what its like to live in the 90s and this is what it would have been like to live in the 70s. instead, its looking at the characters and their situations and making some connections between the two. its done with the hope that it wont be forgotten, like some of the other shared universes of the past, such as star wars or the lord of the rings.

if the lesson of this film is to give chinese actors speaking lines to english-speaking actors, then the lesson of the other films is to keep the english-speaking actors speaking lines to the chinese-speaking actors, but the iron man films have to be careful that the english-speaking actors don't speak to each other. the problem is that the english-speaking actors, at least when i was watching, often spoke to each other instead of the chinese-speaking actors. if a team of chinese-speaking actors are making a movie in english and the english-speaking actors keep talking to each other instead of the chinese-speaking actors, it is more likely that the film will be bad than if an english-speaking team of actors are making a movie in english and they speak to each other (see the sense of an ending). in my opinion, the greatest error of true legend is that the plot had many holes that the movie itself did not make evident. some scenes, such as when the body of frances shea (emily browning) was found, her death scene, and the end of the epilogue, were clearly established. the other scenes, however, such as when reggie met with the rest of the gang, or when reggie and frances were together, had no clear plot, and those scenes were confusing, with too much going on at once. also, the plot becomes completely vague when we begin the epilogue, where we learn that reggie met the godfather, and that there is a nuclear bomb somewhere. most of us have seen enough movies with these kinds of problems, so i dont think we will be seeing any more. but, this is probably the first time anyone has noticed it on a home theater setup, so i thought i would share in case it was useful information. the resolution is pretty good, as well. the problem is more one of network issues than anything. 5ec8ef588b
