the script downloads solidworks 2019 from the solidworks site and loads it. it then runs solidworks opening an sp2018 instance to run the program. while it's running, the script edits the registry and then sets the solidworks installation option to work in 64bit.
the software used to run the script has a 100% success rate in my own experience. however, one can never be sure what effect a piece of software will have on your system. please remember that the software is very powerful. so if you encounter a problem that you can't resolve, the onus is on you. a support service may be possible (if your company has one), but that's up to you to do.
the solidworks 2019 language environment that the script uses supports 32bit and 64bit applications. the 32bit one is the default. however, the 32bit one is not very big because of the way solidworks loads windows and it's a pain in the but to run a 32bit solidworks instance on a 64bit system so it's recommended to use the 64bit. however, solidworks does not have this requirement, so the script supports both 32bit and 64bit.
