The much-anticipated upgrade to Lightroom 5 is here. A desktop application that has been the top choice for many photographers for years, Lightroom 5 extends its functionality and allows photo professionals to trim, organize, enhance and share their photos via the web.
The standard version of the popular image editing software, Adobe Photoshop Elements, costs $89, but is usually worth every penny. With a growing number of free and inexpensive mobile apps to crop, organize, add effects and even create professional prints, Photoshop Elements is surely losing ground to its online competitors, but that doesn’t mean it’s going to disappear, of course.
What’s New:
While it’s important to stay on top of updates and changes in Photoshop and Lightroom, the purpose of my in-depth reviews is ultimately audience-focused; are they worth the money, time and effort invested in downloading and installing the software? This review isn’t going to focus on many of the other features available in Photoshop and Lightroom, but on the ones that are most relevant to my readers.

Now, let's move into the animation sequence itself, starting with the intro and explaining what you'll need to do - and I'll be showing the exact process I used with the song at the end of this tutorial.
Now, we’ll make the first transition by selecting the Selection Tool and choosing “Cut” from the Options Bar, then find the first frame of the audio where the note starts, and drag the selection to the Blend tool.
Now, use the Previous and Next button to navigate back and forth through the transitions. Drag the graphic tool into the timeline, choosing “Cut” to cut out the slide, then drag it below to move it farther along the timeline.
Now, we’ll fix the Blend tool itself by making it behave more like the Extended Tools by choosing “Sequence 1” from the Specials panel options. Right click on the Blend tool and select “Specials > Sequence 1”, then uncheck the box (highlighted in red below) to fix the Blend Tool. You can quickly toggle the settings with the buttons at the right side of the panel when you want to return to the Blend tool's original function, or to just use the Tools panel's options panel.
Now, let's try the Divide method. This makes on/off cues in the sequence, and it's a great way to test transitions before adding them to the project. First, click on the watermark, then select “Divide” from the Specials panel; this will split the watermark into two separate clips, and the title will stay on top of it.

A software that supports complex and robust graphics editing will be a great benefit to the user. Everything may go normal with the desktop design of the software, but it’s all about the photo manipulation tools. To speed up your modelling process, Adobe has introduced Smart Guides that automatically line up with camera movement. For example, when you move the camera across a building, the outline of the building will automatically align in the same position, creating a guide that allows you to create complex shapes. Relaunching the desktop app, the new Photoshop features include four main views – Grayscale, Grayscale + Color, RGB, and CMYK – and the ability to save new files in Kitten Presets, offering increased flexibility, efficiency and a cleaner workspace. Also included are 15 brand-new brushes – New Radial and New Linear brushes, as well as two sets of Liquify Stylus Tools – Radial and Linear.
