The press release goes into quite a few details about what’s in the pipeline, but I’ll briefly summarize the new and improved technologies for the year to come. In the past I’ve considered using more open source GPGPU code, but I tend to use CoreWorx.

Geometric Correction is a feature which can be used to increase the sharpness of your images. The process involves high-precision mathematical operations which can be quite slow. In order to combat this, Geometric Correction performs the operations using multiple passes, where the result of the previous pass is used as an input for the next. This can drastically speed up the process when working on relatively high-resolution images.
