Elements is most definitely tailored for people who want to create images for artists, those who want to publish reviews, and other types of people who like it gives you the ability to create web pages and other forms of art very easily.
This is my favorite form of photography, and as I mention in other reviews, in the beginner stages, Elements is a lot of fun to use. The interface is very easy to pick up on, as well as the workflow. It’s user friendly, and can be used for a variety of things. It’s the best of both worlds, a solid and powerful image editing program, as well as a great simple photography program.
It’s not my favorite among everyone, but it is my favorite for certain people. When you don’t have a lot of artistic background, or maybe you have a photographic style that’s somewhat harder to learn in other programs, this is the image tool for you. Maybe that’s the reason why Adobe keeps on releasing it every year, because it’s that type of program. It’s the best of both worlds.
Overall, this is an excellent product and a lot of fun to use. The new tweaks and functions are nice that it puts the power in your hands with regards to new features and enhancements. The one thing that they could have just had a little more effort into was the colors and adjustments, but other than that, it’s a solid product and worth your money. It’s not hard to learn, and it has its benefits.

Adobe has improved the experience of working with gradients, adding control over the types of curves you can use, the number of different gradient stops and blending modes. Another fun enhancement is the addition of the Pearl option in the Gradient Tool. As you drag across the gradient in any direction, it creates a slightly distorted visual effect on the subject that is also beautiful to work with.
The updated Curves Panel includes three interactive points that make creating curves much easier. There’s a new Tonal Range setting that helps quickly reduce the number of hours that you can spend on a image.
Adobe has added the ability to adjust the Brush size and position and define presets. The area you paint in is accurately tracked, and the paintbrush will continue to fill in areas of the same color. The blend setting for colours is improved, and the selection is now more accurate when you use the Polygon tool to select.
This transition to a native-API driven pipeline for the GPU/DSP is critical for the future of our workstation development, and we are already seeing a resurgence of GPU-enabled content creation with the launch of new content creation tools from Adobe like the Creative Cloud.
