i'm really excited for nba 2k9. i'm a big fan of the nba 2k series and the game looks really good. i like the idea of having stats for each player and for each team. i like the idea of having the possibility to create a player to use in a team in a game. it's really cool to have. live did a great job with their game but i feel that it's not as enjoyable to play as nba 2k series. i like to play basketball games that i can play against my friends. if i could have my basketball game in a basketball game like nba 2k series i would really like to play that game. it's really cool.
right now i think 2k live is a better game then live is a better game then 2k. i like the players and the rosters but i think i would rather play a 2k game over a live game if you asked me to choose between the two.
i think the game is going to be amazing when it comes out but the roster is going to be better in 2k. in live, the player and team always change. in 2k the rosters stay the same. i think 2k will have a much better roster lineup than live. even in live you can buy players to upgrade them. i wouldn't say that live is a bad game, it just isn't as good as 2k.
defensively, the game has also gotten a lot of attention this time around. to start, the new defensive ai will dynamically adjust based on the strength of your team. if you have a weak defensive team, you'll see lots of in-your-face defensive plays, and if you have a strong defensive team, you'll see more zone defense. these adjustments aren't made until you're in game, however, so you'll still have to try to teach your players to play good defense, which means taking advantage of your strengths and playing good man defense against your opponents' weaknesses.
there's a reason why everytime ea drops a basketball game, i preorder the next one because i know that it will be better than the previous release. ea is just getting better and better with their basketball games, and nba live 09 looks to be no exception. in fact, this will be the first year in a long time when ea doesn't have a ps2 version of a basketball game. unfortunately, for nba live 08 and 09, it appears that the studio heads have abandoned the ps2, releasing only a playstation 3 version of each game. but as usual, ea has something up their sleeve. the game isn't just looking better and better with each release, but also with each iteration. while nba live 08 is still the best basketball game on the ps2, nba live 09 brings with it some much-needed improvements. from the help screen to the player's heads, ea has really done a great job of refining everything that could be improved in the past. while nba live 08 brought with it some pretty awesome features, nba live 09 will make you feel like you're a basketball player, not a virtual dummy. live is more like ultimate team. you can make your players better with coins or buy them. you can also buy upgrades for your players or make them better. i'm going to stick with 2k because they keep a better roster lineup than live has in the past. live has had some good players in the past but they never really achieved greatness. the roster is complete from the most starters to the least. i don't want to compare them to the number 1 and 2 console because i only have 1 game for each console and i can't tell if the number one console is better than the number 2. in the end, i'd have to say 2k is better because its the only way for me to get a game that i really can play and enjoy. 5ec8ef588b
