interestingly, you can now shoot from any platform, not just from horses. in the first game, you had to ride a horse to successfully use this skill, but now you can fire from a tree or somewhere else if you mount it, and ride off. although there are no quests from the moment you start the game until almost halfway through. as such, you can kill all enemies once you mount. many of the new weapons have been redesigned for the game, although there have been a few cosmetic changes. the new weapon design follows the large-scale variations of medieval warfare, such as the ratio of range to damage. in fact, the distillery has no weapon variety in the new game, as the first game's weapons had a large range of damage and the best dps weapons did not perform well at all for the purposes of the new game. the soldiers of the kingdom don't have heavy armor and are made of weaker materials than the plate mail of the previous game, making them vulnerable to the arrow attacks of different classes, though armed with steel knuckles they are quite difficult to topple.. unfortunately, it doesn't do a very good job of explaining this either, but still makes me feel kinda silly when i get stuck. i am such a sucker for any kind of video game and this game is not only amazing, but i would feel rude if i did not do a review for it. i'll try to cover what i can about those concerns and explain why the game is so damn good.
