Cleaning: Your scanning surface is never more important, so you’ll need to maintain it. Make sure that the cleaner you’re using does not contain any particles that could scratch the glass. Simply wipe the photoconductive drum in a cleaning solution using a soft cloth. The drum should be wiped all the way to the plastic cover on the bottom of the printer.
Calibration: Forget about the manual calibration. Simply turn the printer on with an empty tray and close the lid. Let the printer do all the hard work.
