with lma manager 2007 codemasters have aimed to bring a degree of realism and strategy to football management. the game is set in the early 1990s, and you'll play as the manager of one of seven teams including a scottish team, a spanish team and one based in gibraltar. you'll manage the team for 20 years, and it'll be up to you to decide who plays for the team. the aim is to win the league for your team by earning points by performing well in the five different areas of the game: players, stadiums, training, media and finances.
"the second area of the game is the stadiums. the stadiums in lma manager are all custom-built by the developers. the stadium you manage is based on the surrounding area, so when the game is released in september you'll get to build a stadium for your team. during your time as the manager you'll get to take a look at the stats, and the players you've signed. your stadium will gradually become more and more popular, and you'll have to make sure you keep your ticket prices low. this is where you'll be able to organise events, like concerts and football matches.
