The preliminaries and the first three chapters of this book deal with the geometric aspects of the theory of linear operators and their applications in the form of matrix theory. Generally, the entire treatment of linear algebra can be divided in two parts, namely, basis theory and applications. The Krein-Rutman theorem proves existence of the eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenvectors of a diagonal matrix. Last but not the least, a beautiful application of the spectral theorem of symmetric matrices in the theory of quadratic forms and that of a polynomial is given. The detailed proofs of these results are given in the chapter. The entire book concludes with applications of these results in the theory of differential equations, dynamical systems, and matrices. Some of these chapters contain exercises and end with some of the extensions of the theory and its applications to other mathematical sciences.
