our favorite session amp is the boss rc10, and we like the pod farm modeling of it quite a bit. however, the pod farm 2 ex isnt as versatile, and doesnt model as many other amps. the main problem is the extended bass response. the pod farm 2 ex goes beyond what any other pedal can do, and it doesnt sound natural, which is just fine for some things, but not for others. pod farm 2 platinum goes beyond what the pod farm 2 ex can do, but not much more. the extended bass response is there, but it isnt as smooth as the boss rc10.
