i tried the white one but i got the medium size. i could go for bigger size but id have to buy it again. i think the best size would be the brown one. i get more sound for the same price. just a thought.
hi, im a big fan of your site and i figured id ask a question relating to the red rhino. i have the binaural plugin and when i apply the spring delay the sound isnt exactly the same on both sides. it sounds kinda clicky. of course my sound card is only producing mono. any advice would be appreciated.
[hi michael! ive never heard of a binaural clip, but after reading this article ill take a look at it. its not normal for red rhinos to have a click when using a spring delay. is that a thick spring? if so, you should add more spring to the pedal. however the click can also be due to your speaker not being on the right position. its a bit confusing as its usually normal for red rhinos to have a sound click here. hope this helps! bjorn]
[hi john! depending on how your amp is set up you can try to eq the signal before it hits your pedals. if your amp is set up as described in the bass and treble at 100% and mids at 50%, try setting your eq dials to 5% at 100hz and 5% at 200hz. also make sure your amp is not clipping on the gain stage. if its, set the amp to clean channel. if its really clipping, your amp may have an issue. try cleaning out the circuit boards of your amp and possibly changing your power cord. if those dont work maybe you need a new amp. best of luck! bjorn]
i remember the first time i heard the m1. to be honest, i was not impressed at first. i thought it was too bulky and not responsive enough. i was just a regular guitar player to begin with. however, one day, i tried it and hit a chord and my face changed. the tone was amazing. its was the distinct sound of a humbucker tone. i am more than pleased with the m1. i would defiantly recommend anyone to check out the m1. it can be pricey but it will last you a long time. it has a lifetime warranty for any manufacturer defect. it is pretty durable, too. so i would recommend you to buy one for a multi effect pedal, i would recommend the a22. however, its a mono pedal. if you play a lot of soloing, and you want to be in touch with the guitar, use the a22. this is a fantastic multi effect pedal. i would go with a lovely combo of bbe electric mistress and boss ms2. i have never heard the alpine so i could not comment on it. its got a really nice and warm and deep tone. also, if it has a mid side switch, i would add a chorus pedal for the chorus effect. it is really good as a chorus pedal. this sounds really good when you play a lead break and play a rhythm part but you just want to have some echo sound. then, you can mix the two with some equalizer and you get a really good chorus sound. i feel this is a great chorus for soloing hi stefanie, what are your thoughts on the roland rdm5 and your impressions about it? i am looking to buy myself one. i heard that the roland vlz2 might be a good alternative to it. i like roland pedals as they are easy to dial in and where most roland pedals are. this one is a really clean amp like tone with a great control over the "electron culture" amp modelling. it has true emulation of the entire amp. 5ec8ef588b
