It is indeed a interesting change. I guess it would be best to just wait and see how it affects the user base. But it’s not bad. I blame Adobe for not sticking to what they know as their primary software. They want to keep expanding but their base is too small to do that. But it’s cool how they are now inking a new territory and that it is a fun one.

We’re actually really disappointed in the performance. We presented this as a great new feature. It takes seconds to select all of the objects in an image. But it takes forever. Adobe’s performance engineering does not have the resources for this. There is a lot of work to do. It is possible that it may eventually become fast. But it is certainly not fast now. We’re very surprised. It’s like going back to the bad old days of the 1990s.
