Released in 2006, Taking Chances met with much less acclaim than its predecessor. All Music admits that the musical blend of dance, pop, and even country is a little heavy on pop, but that it showcases Dions strengths, and that is a good thing. The blockbuster album was released in 2013. Written in collaboration with Marc Shapiro and other top writers, it is the best album Dion has released to date. She wrote or co-wrote 14 of the 23 songs, including nine of the album title track, My Heart Will Go On, three of the singles: The Reason, All I Want, and Me. Its the first album to feature the SmartSound software, especially designed for this type of album: it allows producers to modify the final mix, with effects that you can use in your productions. In addition to all the collaborations with other writers, four numbers are unreleased tracks. The album charted at number one in almost every country it was released.

i have been a fan of celine dion since she was 19 years old. i remember watching her on t.v. as a teenager and how perfect her voice was. i remember watching her singing michael jackson songs in a talent show she was a part of back when she was in high school. i was amazed at how good she sounded. i picked this up at tower records and instantly fell in love with the album. its hard to believe that it was celine dions first album since many people only know the songs from the movie the titanic. now, i have played the songs on the album over and over again and they still sound great to me. this album was the first of her albums that i owned. i still own it today. i can remember the day i found out that celine dion was going to record this album. i was in my room watching tv and i heard the news on the radio. i looked at the clock and saw it was like 2:30 in the morning. i looked at the clock again and it was still 3:00 a.m. i was still in bed at that time, and i immediately turned off the tv and called my mom to tell her that i really wanted to buy this cd. i was very nervous to go to the store and buy this album, but i didnt really care. i just knew i had to have this album. i was very excited to get this cd because i heard the songs from it on the radio. i really like the songs from this album. but i was a little bit disappointed with the album. i thought it was going to be a little different than the songs from the movie. i thought it would be more like the songs from the movie. but it wasnt. i really liked the songs from the movie, but i really liked the songs from this album. i liked them better. i liked the way that she sang these songs better. the way she sang these songs wasnt like the way she sang the songs from the movie. 5ec8ef588b
