as one of the few games that has a true campaign, blitzkrieg covers the entire war from the early days of the war through the end of the war. blitzkrieg features over 40 real and historical units, all of them detailed models with statistics. blitzkrieg also features all of the first-person unit-control features, including the ability to view the battlefield in a 3d view and see both your units and the enemy units in front of them. units can be ordered to move, attack, or defend, and can be upgraded with different weapons, armor, and even additional units, giving you more options than ever before.
campaign games are a bit lacking, with only three campaigns and limited in the variety of objectives. blitzkrieg only features one campaign, and the other two are only basic scenarios. blitzkrieg also includes a number of multiplayer modes, but the ai is not as good as in the campaign game. blitzkrieg is still a pretty fun game, but fans of the genre should keep their expectations low.
