Rhythm actionRhythm actions not only come in all the different sizes, but also in the different planes! With little pads and instruments, big drumkit and big band, traditional drumkit and drum kit, ride and open bass, you can dj any kind of groove! Best of all, you can set the different sticks in any overlapping degree, to get thousands of different patterns.
choice 2 can be used for example to play a rhythm in a rock style while using the last layer to play some funky drums. If the choice 3 is chosen, the muted kit sound can be turned off with following message notification.
Note: The settings are saved for each of the two different Decades mixes. Double-click the drum kit (or click the "Save as..." button above the choice2 and choice 4 settings). The settings will be past for both Decades mixes at once.
Drum settingsIn the "drums" tab, you can edit all drums that are included in the kit. Tom toms, floor toms, small toms, bass drum, ride, ride amp, snare are editable and you can change the settings for each of them.
Each layer except Drums was recorded separate, each with the specific kit setup that played those rhythms. We then did multiple takes of each drum hit to have a consistent solid roll. The Mallet layer was hit hard to provide a sense of attack in each beat. We run these through a soundfont and trigger and hold sounds to get the right result.
The eSDX drum kit is a synthesized kit with selections from the ezDrums SDX kits. This version of the kit supports most of the bits from the eSDX kits and is also fully compatible with the eZX modules, allowing you to synthesize your kit directly using the audio settings of a module.
