this version is a solid improvement over lightroom 5. it seems that the improvements are mostly enhancements and bug fixes that have not dramatically changed the actual workflow. however, a new feature is the ability to connect to a mobile device via a free app. youll also be able to sync with cloud storage, and if you buy lightroom 6, you can also sync your mobile devices for viewing/editing images. this feature is called lightroom mobile. youll also have a new dehaze filter, which should have made it into the previous versions as well. i used the new boundary warp feature to fix some of the wobbly buildings i had in my images, and it worked well. i also like the grain removal, which is a bit better than ive experienced in previous versions. there is a new ability to create photo books in the mobile app, and ive found the most important feature is the ability to adjust white balance when you use auto hdr mode. ive found that i dont really need a lot of manual correction for this, which is a nice improvement. i also like the addition of an image browser. you can view images in multiple sizes, and you can even rename the images. its the first update ive noticed that i cannot do in any of the previous versions. in the mobile app, you cant edit images that are in your collection. so if you have a long-term project with many images that need to be altered, you have to export them out of the application and edit them in some other app (exif viewer, snapseed, etc). ive never liked how the mobile app is only for viewing the images. i think they should make it easier to edit images, like in other versions of lightroom. i wish they would have added the ability to create a slideshow for the mobile app. if you buy lightroom 6, you can sync the mobile apps that you use for viewing/editing the photos. 5ec8ef588b
