Elements is less full-featured than Photoshop, but it still contains advanced features, such as adjustable manual and automatic levels. It also has filters, layers, and the popular 3D features. You can combine multiple images, add artistic effects and work with alpha channels. Use Elements for more simple tasks, or enhance the quality of your images, before you upload them for publication. Elements can also be connected to your Android or iOS device and used remotely. In this way, you can easily change the settings of your images while you work on them, and then go back to them on your device when you are ready to view them. Adobe Elements 10 has new features that make working with images and documents even faster. You can now easily make adjustments to existing features, and even see how your images will look in the future, such as how they will appear when printed or viewed on different devices. We’ll show you the features of Photoshop Elements that make it better than a basic image editor. If you’d rather start with a program that’s fully featured, we recommend Adobe Photoshop. Note: Elements 10 is now the latest version of the program. This article is written for earlier versions. 1. Adjustments The adjustments dialog in Elements makes it easy to adjust images for brightness, contrast and color. It allows you to adjust these settings in one go, using a slider to adjust each setting. You can also control exposure, saturation and hue by clicking on the appropriate squares. [TIP] If you are using Windows, you can press Win-L or select View > Adjustments. You can then adjust the settings of individual layers and the image, together with the settings of the rest of your image. There are three tabs at the top of the window: Brightness, Contrast and Saturation. As well as being able to adjust all three settings using a slider, you can adjust individual settings by clicking them. To adjust the brightness of a layer: Select the layer that you want to adjust and click the Brightness tab. Click the slider to adjust the brightness. To adjust the contrast of a layer: Select the layer that you want to adjust and click the Contrast tab. Click the slider to adjust the contrast. Q: Linux Time to Different Precision I know that a typical Linux system should be able to calculate times to the second accuracy, but my question is, can you for example, configure Linux to automatically convert system-wide an hour to the mill second level as well. However, if I do the same command on a day with daylight savings time, it reports the time only to the minute of the second. When I go to a place that is not in the daylight savings time, it reports both, but with a discrepancy in the second.
