VMware Workstation 6.0.3 Build 80004 With KeyGen Setup Free
I have seen this issue in VMware workstation 6.5.0. It is limited to guest operating systems that have 32-bit drivers. I have 2 dedicated servers running on a 64-bit system running ubuntu 8.10. I created a virtual disk in the virtual machine disk. I then assigned the disk to the virtual machine and powered on the virtual machine. The virtual machine worked fine. I then activated a guest virtual machine. The virtual machine came up fine. However once the guest started to load, the screen completely locked up. The error I get in the guest operating system is: Xorg: Fatal IO error - client killed. I am able to login to the console using alt+F1 however. I can log in to the guest again at a TTY using the hard reset functionality of the guest operating system. The guest operating system is 64 bit.]]>
Good one. I'm currently trying to get the mon0 network interface for NAT. Restarting the OS and gdm is not enough. It's a mess here, I have three virtual machines with the same problem and one OS. I can't start w/out the video card. I get no feedback if I try to start the machine. I have to remove the video card and all it's power. Maybe I'll try to switch to a single direct rendering, one card way. I just got it to work, its very slow. For some reason, though, host:/ has a name of "lo". I can't remove the "lo" nic at this point. There's no network device connected to that NIC, though. What's worse, is it actually tries to bring up the network with host:/ with the same name. I have to remove it too. There's no way to get network access in this configuration, is there? (I also have a USB2 ethernet dongle, I'd like to get that working, too. I'm going to try a couple things, once I restart the OS.)
