Space is a lonely place. (OK, this might not be the case for you, but it could be for a lot of other people.) You’re out there on your own, floating through the great cosmic void, but your only company is the rest of your crew on-board your ship. And unless you have a really great relationship with your crew, you’re doing a big fat zero. This of course leads to a lot of isolation and loneliness, which can take a heavy toll on crew morale. You’ve Got The Power! is a game about relationships. Not just the good ones, but the bad ones as well. It’s a story-driven game about exploration, friendship, and ship crewing. You’ll go on incredible journeys across the galaxies, encountering pirates, animals, monsters, and a handful of other things. Despite the variety of the game, you’ll still have a ton of choices to make. These choices will drive the narrative of the game, so it’s important to make sure you make the right ones. You’ve Got The Power! is currently in development by a small indie team. This is a passion project for us, and we hope you’ll join us on this journey. Gameplay: Your ship crew is your best chance of exploring new systems and finding resources. Your ship crew is comprised of a captain, first officer, navigator, engineer, botanist, and medic, and each of these characters has different powers and personalities that will shape the dynamic of your crew. Your crew will follow you as you explore new systems and become embroiled in some pretty incredible situations. Make some good choices, and you and your crew could have a happy voyage ahead of you, or maybe not. These choices will be made during your ship's playtime, after which you’ll get to confront your choices and deal with their consequences. Key Game Features: • Incredible and immersive spaceship gameplay • Totally customizable ship, crew and equipment • A heaping helping of RPG elements • Your choices will shape your story and how your crew reacts to you • So many things to do and places to go, so little time. • You will go on crazy sci-fi adventures to discover strange new planets, loot ancient ruins, and fight diabolical beasts and pirates • Characters have their own stats, backgrounds and backstories • Tons of tactical choices • Create your
"Approaching Infinity is a science-fiction romance told with the delirium, charm, and aplomb of the best love stories. It's about human potential and the realization of a destiny we can never fully understand, much less control. It's about the journey towards unity and the journey's end, and the change it will make in ourselves, and in each other. Finally, it's about how we carry on without the ones we love most." About the Campaign in Approaching Infinity: "Not all heroes wear capes and not all villains wear black leather, after all. But what if, one day, they're the same people?" From their website, about the game: "This is not the world you know. This is not the world you were born in. This is a new world. A place called Earth. "Earth. The world we share. A place where everything we know is possible. A place where we all dream. Our world is dying. Earth is dying. It's time for us to act. For us to act together as one. "There is a way. A future not yet spoken. A story yet unwritten. A riddle, a puzzle, a mystery. An adventure. Now. It's time we told it. The story of the future." "An absolute blast from the mind of a man with that old bastard grin that creates an experience in which you just fuck around for the entire single player game." /10 - IGN /10 - Eurogamer "...Approaching Infinity is one of the most hectic and lighthearted games you can play right now." /10 - GameSpot /10 - Game Revolution "You're not simply being asked to blow up planets or ask questions about the origins of the universe. You're being asked to blow up planets, ask questions about the origins of the universe, and do it in this game, where it all feels so playful and natural that it's way more fun than just about any other game." /10 - Adventure Gamers "Somehow I doubted that so much time could be squeezed into a game this tight." /10 - Destructoid "Approaching Infinity is a game about leisurely killing. I know, you can see that right away because most games are about death. But Approaching Infinity is entirely about leisure, and in that leisure time, the joy lies in exploring the dozens of planets and stars of the galaxy and just blowing up space. It's a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable game." /10 - USA Today "Approaching Infinity is a blissfully simple game. That's the way you should play it. Most games are full of rules and restrictions and convoluted systems. Not Approaching Infinity. It's your shit. You're the director. You do what you want. You blow up planets. You ask questions. You solve puzzles. You follow your whims. If it turns out your whims suck, you shoot your dog. You don't have to do what you're told. You don't have to do anything at all. The closest thing to rules are the enigmatic rules of the universe. You may be the only player. That doesn't matter. There are no rules." /10 - Game Informer "Approaching Infinity is a rush-in-your-pants kind of game, a game that feels like you're playing by yourself but that doesn't mean you're playing by yourself." /10 - PC Gamer "There is so much to do, and so much to like about Approaching Infinity. It's everything you might ever want from a game, and so much more." /10 - Game Maker's Toolkit "...Approaching Infinity is a game about blowing up planets." /10 - Game
